Moharimet Elementary School uses the SuperFlex curriculum to teach students about social skills, the importance of community and to help students learn zones of regulation,
The SuperFlex program is based upon two sets of characters-- the Unthinkables and the Thinkables. Both groups teach students creative ways to become social detectives, social thinkers and social problem solvers.
Throughout the year Mrs. Dolcino, Moharimet's Guidance Counselor, visits every classroom to teach about Zones of Regulation and how to be SuperFlex. Among other projects, our students will use Web2.0
(Photo from SuperFlex website) tools to deepen their understanding of what it means to be a flexible citizen of the MOH School Community. Our goal through the use of this curriculum is to help students become kinder, more able, flexible citizens of their classroom, Moharimet Elementary School and the world. Please explore this website, which hosts resources, student assignments and digital projects created by our students with Mrs. Dolcino.
